Dr. Kalra is a highly respected clinician with over 30 years of experience in the field of nephrology, dialysis therapies, vascular access procedures, and kidney transplantation. He is known for his patient centric approach and for managing complex transplant cases including ABO incompatible and re-transplants in sensitised recipients.

He completed his MBBS and MD in Medicine, followed by DM in Nephrology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, in 2003. He served as Senior Research Associate at the Department of Nephrology, AIIMS, where his research focused on post-renal transplant pulmonary infections and cardiorenal syndrome. Academically, he has over 35 publications in national and international journals and multiple chapter contributions.

Dr. Kalra has held senior consultant roles at leading hospitals (such as Rockland Hospital, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute) and currently lends his expertise as Principal Director, Department of Nephrology & Renal Transplant at Aakash Healthcare Super Speciality Hospital, Dwarka. With a clinical portfolio exceeding 800 kidney transplants, he has established dialysis and transplant programs across North India.
